This policy explains what information PowerMap Tuning (powermaptuning.com) collects, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, username, email address and password (stored encrypted). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Learning data: the courses you are enrolled in, your lesson progress, and quiz results where applicable.
- Order details: your name, address, city, postal code, country, email address and phone number (optional), plus the courses you bought and the amounts paid.
- Payment details: payments are made on the secure pages of our payment providers (Nass and Al-Qaseh). You enter your card details with them directly. We never receive or store your card number. We only receive the payment status and a transaction reference.
- Contact form: the name, email address, subject and message you send us.
- WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number and messages. WhatsApp is a Meta service and has its own privacy policy.
- Facebook Messenger and Instagram: if you message our page on Messenger or our Instagram account, we see your name (or username) and your messages. Some replies are written by an automated AI assistant, and our team reviews the conversations. Voice messages are converted to text by a third-party service (ElevenLabs) so that the assistant can read them. To ask us to delete your Messenger data, see our Data Deletion page.
- Website chat assistant: our website has a chat assistant that answers questions about our courses and how to enrol. When you use it:
- Your messages are sent to Anthropic (the Claude service) to generate replies, and a copy is sent to our team’s private Telegram group so we can check reply quality.
- We don’t ask for your name, phone or email. Never type your card number or password in the chat. Anything that looks like a card number, phone number or email is hidden automatically before it is sent.
- Your IP address is used only temporarily to prevent abuse (message limits) and is not stored.
- We keep chat transcripts for up to 30 days to improve the service, then delete them.
- Replies are automated and may contain mistakes; the course pages are the official source.
- To ask us to delete a chat, email support@powermaptuning.com; we delete it from our records and from the Telegram copy too.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and a log of important account events (such as logins) for security.
2. Course videos
We stream course videos through VdoCipher to protect our content. The player may show a watermark containing details from your account to prevent unauthorised recording and sharing.
3. Cookies and analytics
- Essential cookies: used for logging in, your cart, checkout, and remembering the language you choose. The site does not work properly without them.
- Google Analytics: helps us understand how many people visit and which pages are most popular. It collects general usage data using cookies.
- Sign in with Google: when you use it, Google sets its own cookies.
- Hosting and security: our hosting provider (Hostinger) may set cookies to protect and speed up the site.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may stop working.
4. How we use your information
- To create your account and give you access to the courses you bought.
- To process orders and payments and keep sales records.
- To reply to your messages and questions.
- To protect the site and our content, including preventing account sharing and copying of courses.
- To improve the site based on usage statistics.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We only share what is necessary with the services that help us run the site:
- Hostinger (website hosting).
- Nass and Al-Qaseh (payment processing).
- Google (analytics and sign-in).
- VdoCipher (course video streaming).
- The site’s email delivery service (Site Mailer).
- Meta (Facebook Messenger and Instagram).
- ElevenLabs (converting voice messages to text).
- Anthropic (the AI that writes Messenger and website chat replies).
- Telegram (internal notifications to our team about Messenger and website chats).
We may also disclose information when required by law.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is active. We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. We may need to keep some order records for accounting purposes even after an account is deleted. To make a request, contact us. To delete your Messenger data, email support@powermaptuning.com.
8. Security
We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
